A Nice Close to the Weekend

November 07 2009

David Ernst Saturday night: clear...lows in the upper 40s...light E wind

Sunday: sunny...highs in the mid 70s...NE wind 5-10 mph

Sunday night: mainly clear...lows in the mid 50s...E wind 5-10 mph

High pressure is in control of our weather and that will remain the case through Monday. Skies will generally stay clear and winds should be fairly light. Temps will still be cold on Saturday night and some isolated frost is possible for well inland areas. Frost shouldn't be much of a problem, though. We'll see a pleasant afternoon for Sunday with highs ranging from lower 70s at the coast to the upper 70s across inland areas. We may see a few more clouds on Monday as a storm system will be approaching from the west and some moisture from Ida begins to move in from the southwest. We should feel the impact of both of these weather systems for Tuesday and rain showers should be likely for Tuesday afternoon. A cold front will be moving through and Ida will provide plenty of moisture. We'll see a lingering chance for rain on Wednesday before high pressure moves back in for the end of the week. Highs should be in the upper 60s and lower 70s for Tuesday and Wednesday due to the extra clouds. By the end of the week highs should be in the mid 70s and we'll see mostly sunny conditions for the afternoons.
